We were three couples and decided we needed some relief from Chinese food on our trip. We landed on May Day which is a national holiday in China. We called from our Groteluschen who had no clue about this place. It was 950 pm and the kitchen was about to close. We pleaded we will be there within minutes and the owner said we can order on the phone and will have dinner ready when we walked in. West street was absolutely overflowing and we could not find the place. We asked another restaurant to call the owner who walked over and picked us up and now it was past 1015pm. We were impressed with the service.
The food was excellent especially as most of our group was vegetarian. We had succulent alu gobi, planner makhanwalla tadka dal and the breads were outstanding.
We had great food terrific hospitality and the only thing to improve on was their kulfi which has room for improvement.
Thank you for keeping the chef overtime and for a wonderful meal.
