The location of this hostel is really good, hidden in one of the little lanes yet close to the main tourist area. The rooftop bar offers an amazing view of the river and town - a photographers paradise at sunset. The room we stayed in was OK - the bed had clean linen and something I've now fallen in love with - an electric blanket! This is first place I've stayed that has had one - I think all hostels should get them (take note other hostels!!) The AC was also a great heater too - all in all I was sooooo warm in this hostel which was much needed as you can get pretty chilly walking around a town where no-one has heating and the doors are always wide open. The downside of this hostel, and the reason I didn't score it as excellent, was the bathroom. It was a bit dirty. The door had obvious grime on it and the shower curtain was mouldy. It was a cheap stay so I guess you get what you pay for but another thing that I didn't like, a pet hate of mine is, the toilet seat was too small for the pan. I've been using a squat toilet for the last 5 months so was really looking forward to using a western one. Oh well! Despite this the staff on reception were brilliant - they spoke really good English and were friendly and helpful. However, in my opinion, the bar staff need to get a taste in good music ;)

Looking to avoid crazy monkey janes.. Look no further. The staff here are so nice and its so refreshing to have western style beds.

Rooftop bar has some of best views iv ever seen from a bar...hostel is great too...book online as people tend to arrive and stay longer than planned!! Bar is v cheap too..We stayed 3 days longer to explore the local countryside by bike.amazing

If only because of the roof top bar I would highly reccomend this place. 6 floor building offers the best views of Yangshuo and surroundings. This hostel seems very new. Clean ang big dorm rooms with AC. Showers are very clear and reliable.

Definitely a place for you If you are looking for a good time in Yangshuo. Perfect to meet other travelers. They offer many activities and trips.
