I have dined at this place about 5 times in the last 10 years. The landscape is spectacular. You can sit outside under the shade of some tall, leafy trees, or inside (air-conditioned). You can enjoy your supper while you relish the view of the mountain and the river. The food is good: they have goat, salmon, Italian, Thai, chicken and steak. The staff are attentive. You can also go for a stroll in the adjacent pic-nic areas. There's a swimming pool, too. Mind you: if you go to this place, you must pay CLP$5,000 as an entrance ticket per person, but that money is discounted from your bill at the restaurant. If you don't have a car, you can take a "taxi colectivo" right outside Metro Las Mercedes (Line 4). The fare is CLP$1,600, and it takes about 45 mins. to reach La Cascada de Las Ánimas.
