“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

I love the view along the way to the temple, you can explore all the old wooden houses build in 20 century
I would say this is totally difference style from Angkor Wat, but quite smaller but you feel much more in ancient time.

“quiet, woody, peaceful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Lovely Angkorian ruins next to a current-day wat and enormous Buddha statue. The ruins of Wat Ek Phnom cost a couple of dollars for foreigners and in the wet season the site is a bit muddy. Looks out onto a lovely lily pond. There's no information about the site once you're there.

If you're on a moto, use Wat Ek Phnom as your destination and then keep on driving to explore nearby fishing communities and rice fields.

“Wonderful to see rice drying and people praying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

The temple wasn't much to see but what was interesting was that the local farmers were drying the rice on the court yard, kids were playing games with their thongs and people were praying in the prayer hall.
