“Great Food, Far Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

This place was down a dark road away from the main roads, but you could hear locals playing music across the field on the journey there. The food was amazing, the staff was also amazing and explained each dish we asked about. Definitely worth going to if you want a taste of Nepali food.

“BEST FOOD WE HAD IN MYANMAR BY FAR!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

A few blocks down a dark road away from the main strip of restaurants, but definitely worth finding because it was the best food we had during our whole two week Myanmar trip! The family who own it are incredibly polite, humble and very understanding of all our funny requests ("no ice in the juice" "no oil on the chapatti" "no aubergine in the curry"..I am fussy!). We ordered daal and a peanut curry, that both came with rice and a soft, non-doused-in-oil (like all other places) chapatti. Both of the curries were so flavoursome that we ordered a third curry between us again!! All the curries also came with five homemade condiments- a tomato chilli sauce, fried chilli onions, pumpkin, marrow and pickled mango. All YUMMY and unique! We had a banana chocolate pancake for dessert which was nice. Minor point- my fresh orange juice was so fresh that it was full of literally about 50 pips...perhaps they should have strained out the pips. It was the same with the coffee- lots of coffee grounds. But that really is a minor point. $13 for three curries, two drinks and two desserts is incredible value! Best food in Myanmar...you MUST go!

“Indian food with a difference”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

This family run modest restaurant caters Indian food with variations. For example, their stuffed parathas (pan fried Indian roties stuffed with different ingredients) were mouth watering, albeit high on fat. No air cons, so could be stuffy and hot depending on the weather. On the whole wrt a visit, if one likes Indian food.

“Truly Indian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

We had dinner for two consecutive days in this small restaurant, which itself speaks our satisfaction. Being vegetarian, we had to look for Indian food, and we were more than satisfied with the variety, taste and quantity. Good value for money.
However the place is average with no air-conditioning and not lacking mosquitoes, although the management does places mosquito replants on each table.

This place was good for a nice lunch. They do some excelent currys and give a good spread of side dishes. Only a few street from the main drag in town just look for the signs
