The pastel is very good and the price is very nice. The place is quite simple, there are a lot of tables and even so, sometimes, it's necessary to wait to get in because it's really crowded. The biggest problem is that Tammy is a noisy place, not plesant, I could barely hear my friends that were sitting next to me.

I travel every once in a while to Brazil and my mom wanted to bring us here so bad. It wasn't in my to-do list but out of pity I decided to just go with it. Hot damn, how did I almost miss this? The dough alone makes it worth the visit. It was really noisy and crowded but no one at the table complained. I had the calabresa sausage + palm hearts + cheese and the four cheeses, divine. I was eating so much during that week that I couldn't even try the sweet ones, but my wife heavily recommended them. Even my kid which has a North American palate enjoyed her cheese pastel, which goes to show how great they are. To top it off, the prices are really fair. This place is a must.

The pastel which made Tammy famous in Sorocaba was a large pastry stuffed with delicious ingredients of your choosing. The last time I went to Tammy the size of the pastel had diminished and 90 percent of the pastry was air. Where is the old Tammy? This was the best, but no longer is.

This restaurant serves different pastries. I've never ate any pastry so delicious like that. The owners are japanese and they have a famous good reputation in the city. A must go!
