The room was mostly very clean, all of it -- except when I went to sleep and found that one of the pillow covers was stained with dirt as if someone had stepped on it with their shoes. Oh well, I simply exchanged it with another pillow and that was it, but they should have taken better care... This was the only room-related downside. The room was VERY spacious even though it was their cheapest, and otherwise VERY clean. The shower was not overly spacious, but there was room enough for one as space-taking as me.
They have a good selection of cable TV channels at a conveniently-located, pivoting TV stand in your room.
Breakfast had a varied selection of bread types, fruits, cheese of many types, meat selections, juice selections, milk, yoghurt etc. and had plenty of choices for me to sit at. Breakfast service is discreet and effective.
Unfortunately the major downside is that the corridors on the 1st and 2nd floors stink strongly of tobacco smoke even though the hotel purports the rooms to be smoke-free. Indeed my room was, but how come?
Ah, yes: the balcony's doors do not seem to lock, which may pose a problem security-wise. However, the room looked out upon the hotel's own backyard and swimming pool, so any invader would have had to traverse those first. So I slept soundly.
Speaking of which, sound insulation was perfect. I never got to hear any traffic despite one heavy-trafficked street close by and very much in my eyesight from the windows.
The hotel is conveniently located near to a lot of commerce, nice restaurants and the hyperbusy Paulista avenue. Its next-door neighbour is a car park.
