I had been looking forward to a good Brazilian steak when I visited my son in Brazil. We decided to go to Bufalo Grill in Santo Amaro as it is walking distance from his home and they had an offer, only R$26.95 per head (about £8.50). When we arrived we were offered a Caipirinha and though "why not?" Nearly half the cost of the meal was these two Caipirinhas at R$20.80 each!!!!! The most expensive we had anywhere else was under R$10, usually about R$6-7.
Having said that the food was very good. Excellent choice of salads and cooked dishes you help yourself to at the buffet and then they came round with dozens of different meats so fast we had to turn the sign round to tell them to stop! The restaurant is in a very large open plan building seating hundreds but did not feel crowded. Family friendly like all Brazilian restaurants of this type. Staff was attentive and friendly.
Would go back but will have my Caipirinha at a bar on the corner before going for the meal.
