Owner description: The emerald heart of an oftentimes gray city, São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures.

“Nice park to be in Brazil”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2014

Parks are nit that green in Brazil as they are in Europe or North America, but this is anyway a very nice park with a lot of interesting people and activities going on on the weekends.

“Go where locals spend their weekends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

People from São Paulo spend part of the weekends in the Ibirapuera Park. It´s a excelente place to see how they live and how they spend their free time. The go jogging, they take the kids, they go for a walk, they go with their entire families just for a walk or for a pic-nic. If you want to understand how do they live, you cannot miss a visit on a Snday to the Ibirapuera Park.
