“I regret my stay”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

The staff is hardly speaking any word of English, so we were always helped by the same woman who spoke enough English to help us.

The room was big, the balcony small. The view we had from the balcony, was on some ugly low buildings with water reservoirs on the roof. Not really what you expect from a room with view over São Paulo. The beds however were good.

The “SPA” on the top floor is poor. The images on the internet show it way bigger than it really is. The pool is shallow, and can’t have more than 5 people at the same time or it will be overcrowded. The view is great, but that’s all. The girls working over there don’t speak any word of English. And if you’re looking for the SPA, good luck. Without signs saying anything like “sauna” or “spa”, and with closed doors everywhere, this isn’t that easy. We gave up, as we were already too upset about all the other things.

The breakfast in the adjoining building was to cry. The 3 sandwiches, 4 slices of cheese and bacon, and the 400 grams of cereals were barely replenished. The service was unfriendly. It looks like if the people in São Paulo don’t know anything about good manners. They were always going first, even pushing you, they didn’t ask if we needed anything, they were not smiling and they were simply rude. The hotel also only attracts Brazilian people who are on holiday in their own country.

I will never go back in this hotel. I really regret my stay.

I strongly discommend this hotel to any type of guest.

Apartment style hotel rooms.. you have a day room, complete with small kitchen area, and bedroom. Bedroom and lounge area decent size, most of the rooms with small balcony area, with some good views if you stay higher up (tip: go up onto the roof where the gym is located and take in the 360 degree view). Bathroom is a little small and basic but adequate

Room Tip: Higher floor for the views

Stayed here for almost a week during a business trip to LATAM.
The Hotel has nice rooms (I suggest a high floor for the view) staff is really nice, they all speak english and are willing to help. Now, Location is unbeatable, close to a high way and within walking distance of many places to eat and have a "chupe" (drink)
Breakfast buffet is good and include some brazilian dishes which is a thing I like, getting LOCAL stuff.
The pool is something to die for, in the ceiling and with a view of Sao Paulo that will impress you

Cons:
Like most hotels, internet is crappy but works and its free
Since its in a high end area, sometimes in the morning you really hear helicopters swing by

Room Tip: I usually go for high floors and this one is not an exception.

I went to this hotel because it was close to the event I was attending (Hotel Unique substantially more expensive). I chose it because the price was very convenient.
The size of the rooms and specially the bathroom is small ... but if you would be out of the hotel most of the day, and you only want to sleep ... the price of the hotel is highly convenient. If you want a room to stay and relax, you would probably need to find a bigger room somewhere else, but it could be pricey in Sao Paulo.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was very clean. Some peolpe say the bathroom is too small well this is not true, it may not be a big bathroom but it is confortable enough unless you are a big person. Some peolpe say it is noisy but I guess they stopped while I was there because I dind't hear a thing. Breakfast is good nothing out of this world but worth the money, several choices for people watching their diet and those who wanna indulge in the pleasures of food. Minibar is not overpriced. Oh and the burger is really really good.
Overall if you are looking for a resort type of hotel this is not it otherwise I think you'll be very happy.

I was there one night in April during my trip in Brazil. Good location, Rooms clean and quite ok. breakfast rather poor nothing special. This is city hotel so do not expect great views and other advantages. Price comparing to other hotels ok. Service helpful. A little noisy becasue of renovation works in the neighbourhood but sup up ok for short stay.

Moving from a gem of a hotel to this one, it is hard not to compare them. I found this hotel very noisy, I stayed on the 8th floor and there is a building site opposite that starts at 7am every morning. Although I fully understand that this is not the fault of the hotel I found this to be very disturbing throughout my visit. In addition, due to its location, the Sao Paulo traffic starts at about 4am and being close to some fairly major roads this just added to the sleep - or lack of - issue. there were a number of us staying in the same hotel on various floors and they all experienced the same thing.

On the plus side, there is a great gym and swimming pool on the roof as well as a spa and sauna, staff here were very helpful. The breakfasts were fine, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cold meats, cheese etc and some hot stuff if you wanted it.

Staff were helpful but I would say in general slightly over priced, I think this will be due to it being a good location for business travel.

Also - just as a guide, the hotel charges a lot for airport transfers, if you arrive at the International airport there is a taxi kiosk here that charges 120 Brazilian Reals to get to the Hotel - the Hotel will charge you BR 160 for the transfer.

There is a bar and restaurant downstairs, in the main this lacked atmosphere but there are plenty of places nearby to eat including a great sushi place opposite. Once the building opposite is complete then it might be worth re visiting this hotel but for now I would try and find somewhere else.
