I ended an 8 day holiday to Brazil with two nights at Emilano Hotel. I planned the 2 day stop in Sao Paulo to relax, shop, and check out some restaurants I have heard about. The luxury end of the trip, so to speak.

I did booked AMEX after checking out some of the reports on trip advisor. Most of the reports were spot on--the Emiliano ROCKS! I enjoyed it so much that I am writing my first report on Trip Advisor.

I won't go on describing the room, as others on have done so, but I do have to say the bed/sheets/pillows were among the best I've slept in around the globe. The service was great--I asked for a few places to go out New Year's Eve, and they searched the internet for me, and sent the list to the room. Truth be told, we ended up having dinner and returning to the room--we enjoyed the room so much, we skipped going out and watched a movie in the room.

Jardins is a great shopping/dining area, which I was very impressed with. I didn't realize when I booked, but it turns out guests of the hotel receive discounts at many area retailers (ex-Calvin Klein). There is a great gourmet supermarket just down street from hotel to pick up some stuff for the room--there are two mini-sub zeros to put stuff in.

Because of my complete experience with Emilano Hotel and it's location, I will be watching fares from Miami to Sao Paulo. It's worth a return trip for a weekend of pampering, shopping and eating.
