Just left the restaurant with a party of four other people. Was my first time at the place, and I have booked four days before. I have read only good reviews about this restaurant. First impression is good - the place is elegant and cozy at the same time. Menu is focused on pastas, not many choices of meat or seafood. The food is good.
I felt very unconfortable, though. As the dinner host I felt pressured for eating fast and leaving soon from the moment we have chosen our meals: salads came two minutes after we ordered, and the entrees were right at the table as soon as we were done with the salads. I look around the restaurant and I noticed that some of the other tables were served much slower than ours.
A waiter was literally walking around the table, and sending an inquisitive look like "time is running out!".
In the end, was not a memorable experience, and it will be very difficult for me to return as a client to this place.
Interesting to say that consulting a local internet site that displays informal comments about restaurants and hotels, the statements about Tre Bicchieri described experiences similar to mine: too much hurry to get the client out.
