“It is a place to go.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

It is better to make a reservation, especially on Sundays. When you arrive you feel welcome, the ambience is nice and the transparent glass that separates the dining room from the kitchen gives you a feeling of confidence. Most of the Waiters are courteous and the Maître speaks also English. There is a wide variety to choose from the menu, everything typically Brazilian, from all parts of the country – whatever that means since the country is huge with an infinite variety of tastes and smells. We go there often and have tried many different appetizers, entrees and deserts, all prepared with competent diligence. The place is suitable for many patrons: singles, couples, family with kids and small groups. Often one sees Mr. Alex Atala, the mastermind of the place, around, overseeing the entire operation.
If you like Brazilian food or if you want to take a foreign friend to eat well, it is the place to go.

“get your taste buds ready!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

This restaurant by chef Alex Atala is quite an opportunity to see what Brazilian refined cuisine can be. The service is top notch and the food is definately worth going. I extremely recommend this restaurant to any foreigner visiting Sao Paulo and looking for a high quality food and typical Brazilian experience. My wife and I always take our out of town friends (even Brazilians) to go there and we have never been disappointed! Don´t miss it - you will NOT regret it!
If you can make it on Saturday night, right after midnight you´ll be surprised by its special chicken dish with in kitchen self service. A different experience to say the least!

“Great enviroment and good Brazilian food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Great enviroment, friendly staff and maitre, good rereading of Brazilian cuisine.
I ordered a "Carne Seca com Mandioca e queijo coalho" it was very good(expensive for its size but really tasty so it was fine).
The dessert(tapioca) was really good I recommend you to save some space for it.
Price may be a problem but sometimes it's fine to pay for a delightful food and place.

“Delicious Brazilian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012 via mobile

Dalva e Dito Serves a delicious Brasilian cuisine in a very nice environment.
Caipirinhas, pasteis, moqueca, ... all specialties are there. Try the "pig in a can", my favorite.
The sommelier is very professional, she makes ver good recommendations (not necessarily the most expensive choice).

Just a small negative point, the restaurant is a bit too dark.
