“Stunning view and very good dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Have a drink at the bar first (jazz band) and then enjoy a very good (yet pretty expensive...) Italian cuisine at the restaurant. Stunning view on the city. OK, it's not Paris or Roma, but the BladeRunner-like skyline is quite impressive

A must for every visitor and locals alike. Almost 360 degrees view of São Paulo from one of the highest points in the city.

“What a view! What a great lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

So often "view" restaurants sit back on their laurels and deliver a mediocre meal and service. This is not the case with Terraco Italia in Centro Sao Paulo.

I have been traveling to Brazil regularly for over 5 years and have never managed to make it to this Sao Paulo standard. What a shame! The view is absolutely magnificent with a 360 degree walk-around outdoor terrace to take it all in. I was amazed. Never have I appreciated Sao Paulo's enormity and scale like I did here. It is staggering.

Lunch was equally impressive. Fantastic three-course prix fixe lunch for R$68- or $34/pp. It is a bit steep and the reason I give this review 4 stars instead of five is that I don't like being forced to choose only prix fixe. No a la carte is very poor in my opinion and, essentially, forces people to buy a course they invariably don't want- in my case dessert.

Looking at the dinner menu I felt the value of the place seep out. It was very expensive and, again, prix fixe only. If you want to see the view at night- go to the bar on the other side and have a drink instead!

Service was flawless and the room well-kept and beautiful.

Oh- that view.

“Expensive but the view is great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

This place is an institution in Sao Paulo. I imagine its where people go to propose. The view is amazing. Book well ahead. We couldn't get in to the restaurant a day ahead but if you go before 8.30 or after 10 you can get into the wine bar which has a great view and soothing music. The cost for two drinks and some water was 120 Real (about 110 Us) because there is a $30 cover charge per person!! I'm glad we didn't eat as well. The service was friendly and helpful. Save it for a special celebration.
