Overall a very basic hotel with small rooms and basic service. Fine for a short stay of 3-5 days. If you are planning to stay longer I would advise to skip this hotel and look for better opportunities.
The hotel is situated in the city center, but that is exactly where you don't want to be. To the right of the hotel there are few restaurants where you can safely walk to. The city center is easily accesible from the hotel, just pass underneath the fly-over accross from the hotel. I was advised not to go there after dark. From a location point of view a better option to stay is Cambui where it is safe to walk on the street and where there are lots of restaurants, bars etc.
Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Most staff do not speak any English, but the hotel makes an effort to have one english speaking person per shift, but not gurantees.
