I was a little hesitant to book with a property I have never heard of before, but I saw it was a Wyhndam property, so I decided it must be good. Well, when I arrived, it is no longer associated with Wyhndam, but that didn't matter. I am currently staying here with another coworker after we read the reviews of many of the different hotels in Campinas.
Check in at the hotel was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly.
The room is nice and the furniture was well kept. The room had a very comfortable king size bed, mini bar and snacks, flat panel tv, robe and slippers.
After about 5 hours in my room (our flight arrived in early in the morning, so we checked in early) I noticed a dripping noise on the wood floor. It seemed the AC was leaking. I called to the front desk and they immediately sent the maintenance worker up to fix it. He fixed it, but 30 minutes later, it was leaking from another spot. I reported it again and this time they told me they would change my room so I wouldnt have to deal with it again.
Everyone at the hotel has been extremely nice and the food in the restaurant has been spectacular.
My only complaint, as has been most other reviewers, is the WIFI/internet speeds. It is really slow and when I need to connect to my VPN to make phone calls, it is almost impossible. Hopefully in the future that will be fixed.
All in all, in my 2 trips to Campinas, this is by far my favorite hotel.
Ask for a room on the back side of the hotel, it is very quiet at night due to not being on the stre...
