“I would not call this Sushi”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

Yes, it was raw fish, but why? Those are not Sushi grade fish, there for should been cooked. Diaria when you travel is the last thing you need.

“Wrong Bill, 35 USD More? what?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

This is a very bad experience for families, couples, every human in the face of earth. They really lack of service, cocktails are wrong (if you want to drink whateaver they want you to drink, just ask and wait 45 min to get). The manager and staff are so proud to get a recent Veja (as they call that), they are blind. Be aware: they have a buffet option. If you decide to walk there and only look, they will charge you around 35 bucks (USD) each person. If you are not gettting anything from there, you don't have to pay for a quick look, right... RIGHT? Imagine this situation: Remove everything from there, just keep the japanese food and no drinks, no water, no staff around you pushing your family to order... The food is really amazing, but nobody will be there to help you get it.

“Where Japan and Brasil Meet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

Overall a nice restaurant just adjacent to the Vitoria hotel in Campinas Brasil. Walked in with reservation on a Wednesday evening about 9PM and the restaurant was packed. We were a party of 8 and in about 10 minutes they were able to seat us. Overall food was good, but it was obvious they push the salmon Sushi and sashimi. The food was very fresh and truly high grade. Restaurant was very contemporary style design and clearly a gather spot for younger professionals to meet, eat and have a few drinks at the end of a long day. Overall the meal was a bit pricey, about $350 USD and no alcohol was purchased since the new driving laws in Brasil are zero tolerance for alcohol. Overall it was a very good meal an good service.

“Japanese Buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

This is most places you go in Brazil: Drinks are charged on an individual basis. There is no one price for unlimited refills. I would go to this restaurant VERY HUNGRY because the charge for one person was 60 Reais, which is about 30 USD!
