My Fiance and I Spent a wonderful evening at Rosso Restro in February 2012. The food was fantastic, and the service was second to none! Location, location, location!
We spent several hours eating and drinking wine until closing, where we were then personally greeted by chef/owner Alysson D. Muller. We enjoyed a lengthy conversation about the culinary arts over glasses of wine. It is very refreshing to see a young Chef so passionate about what he is doing.
We feel the need to note that the service went far beyond our dinning experience. It was a stormy night and we unknowingly left our friends "coach" umbrella behind (didn't even know they made umbrellas...). We proceeded to go for a little drive around town before heading back to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, Chef Alysson and his wife were there waiting for us with umbrella in hand (we had mentioned where we were staying earlier). It was roughly a 20min drive from his Rosso Restro... We were shocked and couldn't thank him enough.
You just don't see service like this anymore... I have eaten at high end restaurants all over the world, including my home, Vancouver B.C. I Have several friends who own and operate establishments which I don't feel would ever take customer service to this level.
I would, and will recommend Rosso Restro to everybody I know who visits Florianopolis.
You don't come across this type of experience every day.
