To preface this review, 99.9% of the restaurants I've visited have either been "wonderful!" or "not bad". I don't remember the last time I disliked a restaurant, but Amir's takes the 0.01%! Where to begin? First and foremost, I VERY rarely get any stomachaches whatsoever -- I don't remember the last time I did, but after the experience at Amir's, I was poorly for the following 24+ hours.
I ordered the Sharwarma with lamb, which turned out to be ever so salty, presumably to disguise its outdated-ness. Similarly, the salad had a sour taste. To my detriment, my girlfriend and I decided to eat the meal out of courtesy. We later realised this was a terrible mistake. Never show courtesy to people who show you the discourteous to serve rotten food. At the time we put it down to the Lebanese food, which we are unfamiliar with, and so the tastes were different to us.
Furthermore, the service itself was miserable, and the waiters were terribly unfriendly. Avoid like the plague! Otherwise you might contract the plague...
