Myself and my partner stopped at this hotel for 2 nights while we visited Rio.

The hotel is over the road from the second airport in Rio, Santos Dumont, although we flew into Rio-Galeao airport which was a 20 minute cab ride away.

The hotel was of a good standard, the room was small but spacious, clean, with very powerful air con, just what we needed as it was 40oC outside!!

We ate in the hotel for the first night, and although the food was good, there was not alot of choice, so we ate out the 2nd night.

The location of the hotel is away from most of the tourist attractions so its not somewhere which you could walk to any of the sights. That said, we got the underground and then a cab back from the nearest station.
