I selected this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. My main criteria was safety. And boy it was safe. The location is perfect. We were able to walk around at night without any problems. the hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I can't even count how many wonderful restaurants are around it. The room was the perfect size ,clean and modern. Breakfast was perfect. Staff is friendly.Wi-fi in the room is very handy. I would recommend the hotel to my friends for business or pleasure.

Promenade Palladium is perfectly located – metres from the beautiful Ipanema & Leblon beach and close to so many lovely bars and restaurants. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit! We have also stayed in 2 other hotels in Rio (Marina All Suites just around the corner and Windsor Martinique in Copacabana) and I would rate Promenade Palladium as the best value for money out of these 3 – it has everything you need! Marina All Suites is fancier and a bit more suited for a special occasion, but of course also more expensive! The Windsor Hotel was also nice, but staying in Leblon is just so much nicer staying in Copacabana! The only negative thing I can say is that we have booked a trip through the hotel to Corcovado which was not that great – we spent the first 2 hours picking up guests at other hotels and ended up spending about 15 minutes on top of Corcovado (we didn’t even have time for the small cloud covering the mountain to fully blow away) and then we also visited a few other places which we had no real desire to see – I would recommend doing separate research to book day tours or to simply plan your own trips and go by taxi.

I've realised from my visit to Rio that nearly everything is overpriced there and this hotel follows that trend. Our room was very spacious but basic too.
Some staff on front desk were very helpful, others rude and uninterested!
Location is fantastic - I didn't feel safe anywhere in Rio except here! Breakfast is great- good selection, lovely staff. The day tour of Rio arranged by the front desk is well worth doing. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice!

We stayed for about 10 days here, while I was working in Rio. Since my family also came along we went for an appartment. This was perfect for us, the location is great, the staff is really friendly, breakfast is great, pool area is Ok, nothing special but great for the kids to play when it was so hot.
The appartment was big and simple but confortable, just the kitchen we found to be outdated and specially the kitchen appliances and everything to cook really too basic, making it almost impossible to use the kitchen. Air conditioning too noisy, so we kind of used it for a bit and then shut it down to sleep, then woke up with the heat and turned it on again, not so great. Room service and restaurant never seemed to be working when we asked, never really understood why but that's ok because there were so many options in the neighbourhood.
The only thing I desliked though was that they did not charge us our points for the frequent traveler card, which they were supposed to. I don't really understand why they didn't even reply to us when I claimed the points by e-mail, specially because I had used the same e-mail address for booking so there's really no excuse, they just didn't fell like doing it for some reason.
Otherwise Leblon is great, we had dinner at nearby restaurants in outside esplanades, and it's allways lively and friendly. Taxi stop just facing the hotel and huge great supermarket just downstairs couldn't be better. I really enjoyed it here.

My husband and I stayed 2 days, we liked the location of the hotel but do not believe it is a good value. The breakfast was nice with great selection. Some frontdesk staff were helpful while others were not. Our room for the first night had a fan only AC and we were promised a room change the next day but it did not occur until we asked again upon our return to the hotel. The hotel charge for Internet usage by the minute. We had a suite for the first night and a regular room the second night because we really needed the AC. The regular room is on the small side.
