We came here one day and then the next and then the next. It's one of the few, actually very swim able beaches in Rio. If you are not a good swimmer, you will ok here. We loved the view of the gigantic rocks that gave us that Carioca feel. This is also a great place for beginner surf lessons. My husband learn to surf with two different instructors here, and there were both friendly, patient and with enough English to take care of you. That's that... Nothing else to say, except, you will want to be back as soon as you leave.
