“A fascinating experience”

The cable car ride was enjoyable and the views of Rio were spectacular. On the mountain, you can shop and eat. A must do inn Rio.

“Loved watching the jets flying below me.”

Great views, totally different but in there own way as good and in some ways better than from Cristo. Went early in the day, avoided all crowds.

“Extraordinary views!!!!”

Definitely a must if you go to Rio, when you get to Sugar Loaf, take your time, because after you return to Urca Hill, they don't let you rise again ( that is ridiculous)

“One of my favorite places in Rio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

I am from Rio and I recently took some american friends there. They all enjoyed the visit. You do not need a guide and I strongly recommend that you hike up to Morro da Urca (the lower mountain). It might be a bit steep but it is certainly fun. The trail starts at "Pista Claudio Coutinho". The view from the top is amazing.

“Beautiful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

A must see in Rio. Beautiful views towards Copscabana, Corcovado, Botafogo and Guanabara bay. The queue during the weekend is huge, not so on a weekday. After the Sugar Loaf be sure to walk around the Urca district towards the beach
