Stayed in this hotel during Carnival 2005. Hotel was great! The room was clean with new furnitures. Buffet breakfast was delicious. There is an internet room for free. The hotel agents were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is near Copacobana beach. You can walk there in 2 minutes. There are also restaurants and shops around the area. The hotel also has a list of day tours to provide. They have day tours to exotic islands, soccer game, night tours to a show, Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, Petropolis, etc... They also will help you get a taxi to the airport. I highly recommend that you ask for their help to get you a taxi coz taxi drivers will hussle tourists(charge you with alot of money plus drive you around in circles that you may lose time). Taxi is about $20 USD to the airport. A great mall for shopping is Rio Sul mall.
