We went this past Wednesday night around 9PM. Crowded but we got the last main floor table. Limited menu, more like tapas - so we shared a mini pizza and some ice cream. This is a place to listen to local musicians and to dance the samba (which we did). I don't see why it is listed here in the Restaurant category. Most people were just drinking - beers and wines etc.
Loved the street it is on - where you can find real eating establishments. Rio Scenarium must be explored inch by inch - you must walk through the place and take it all in. Fascinating décor. Don't miss the umbrellas over the cashiers' section.
25 reale entrance fee on weekdays goes up higher on weekends (to 40 I think). Well worth the effort and expense to taxi here from the beaches. We stayed about 3 hours. No pressure to buy any drinks.
