I understand some of the previous reviews complaining about prices and unrequested expensive food served to the table. As soon as my wife and I arrived they tried to put the expensive bread and water on my table and I asked the waiter to avoid bringing unrequested items. The service afterwards was flawless. The waiter even split one starter into two very good portions for us. My dish – Filet mignon with Parma Ham and truffled Mashed Potates was divine! My wife’s risotto was also great and so was the Grana Padano cheese served aside. The Tiramisu in the end was fantastic as well.
Yes, prices are high, but you are one minute away from Copacabana Beach, in Rio de Janeiro – an expensive city with its strong Brazilian currency – and in a very well built restaurant – what did you expect to pay, peanuts? Personally, as a local, I have paid the same we paid here for very disappointing food. One suggestion – visit the restaurant during lunch time, as they give you 20% discount over the final bill!
