What an amazing place to stay. It felt like a 4 star hotel with gorgeous spacious rooms, a lovely bathroom and hammock on the balcony. The atmosphere is really relaxed and chilled.

Denise is the perfect host and made us feel incredibly welcome with lots of great tips about the area.

I would highly recommend Vila Pitanga to anyone heading to Buzios.

I thought that the Vila Pitanga was really the best place to stay in Buzios!. It is right in the heart of the city, just minutes from the centre and it's beautiful 23 beaches. All you need is the little buggy that you can rent for not much and roam around quite easily. The absolute best attraction of the Vila-besides their hammoks- is the wonderful host herself who is very friendly and will guide you to what ever you want to do each day. She is really outstanding! As far as Buzios is concerned I thought it is the best secret of the world besides Saint Tropez in France which is much more expensive and far less exciting. In Buzios we found live band every night playing a variety of music inclding jazz, rock and the wonderful local Bossanova and the Samb .Also it has fifty wonderful restaurants ranging from average to the very best.Once again I would highly recommend the Vila Pitanga and if we were to go back to Buzios we will not think twice and just call Denise and know that she will take care of us. By the way
their breakfast is very good as well.

We were impressed by other reviews on tripadvisor so decided to stay at Vila Pitanga. It certainly lived up to expectations. In a location that´s within easy walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The rooms are tastefully decorated and airy. We had a top floor room which had a great view looking out over a lagoon close to the Vila - perfect to lie in the hammock and watch the sunset. But what really makes this place a grade above the rest is the owner Denise. She´s so incredibly helpful and really geniune. Highly recommended and great value.

My brother and I(Both 20 somethings) visited Buzios for a planned 3 nights in July. Due to overwhelming things to do in Rio we made it to Buzios a day late. Dennise was amazing at contacting us back in regards to our reservations. When we arrived we were a little sceptical of the dirt road leading to the B&B but once we reached our destination(12 seconds by way of taxi from the bus stop, get a map and walk, unless you have lots of luggage as it is right behind the bus stop.) Dennise went through what to do, where to go, who to contact if need be. This was amazingly helpful in determining where we needed to alot our time. The first day was spent at Ferradura beach. This beach is a cove where the waves are small there are a couple of beachside places to eat. That night was spent searching for something to do during the brazilian winter there. Not much to do but we had a good time getting to know people. The next day was spent looking at the amazing looking women on geriba beach. We ended up meeting a couple and hanging out. Dennise was always there to offer help or a taxi call if need be and was funny when she asked how our night was because needless to say we didn't stay at home that night. She was incredibly nice and even though we both spent a month in brazil she was one of the only things worth writign about. Thanks again dennise and have a wonderful time in buzios if you are visiting.
