I liked this hostel!! most of the staff is really friendly. the price is right. The hostel has a beautiful sea view and the location is great, rua das Pedras is downtown, it has many shops, cafes, ice cream parlors, restaurants, etc.

Room Tip: the rooms of higher floors are better. the hostel has a bar with music until midnight.

I almost didn't stay here because I think 50R is very expensive for a 10 bed dorm. In the end I decided for it, as it was only one night, and I'm glad I did. I still think the dorms are overpriced, but if you get a bunk with a sea view when you wake up, it feels worth it. Breakfast and sunloungers overlooking the sea really can't be beaten.

It is easy to find, on the main street - less than 10mins walk from the bus stop and 20mins walk from Ferradura beach (anther nice beach to visit). The dorms are also some of the most spacious I've come across, the 10-bed is on 2 levels, which gives it a nice layout. The hob wasn't working when I was there, although I imagine this is temporary. The bar food is cheap, but very average.

All in all I'd definitely recommend Nomads if you have come to Buzios for a relaxing few days by the beach, which is, after all, what most people want from the town.

The location is really great you can step on the beach from the hostel. The breakfast was great as well. Some of the staff were really great some were not. The room wasn't ever really cleaned. Basically tucking the sheet back into your bed and emptying the trash can seemed to be all they did. It was hard to find the first time because there is a pizza place that is right in front of it. Besides the breakfast and location the hostel was average and expensive.

Its in the best street of buzios, the best location. From there you can easily go to the best beaches. Its worth eating at the ice cream place nearby, and going to 'praia do canto', that is exactly in fronr of the hotel. It has a beautiful view, actually

We stayed here for 1 week, and what a perfect hostel and location to end our trip with. Having been to lots of hostels in South America by now, this really lived up to the reviews and was one of the best, if not the best, we stayed in over the 3 months. Buzios is not a cheap place in general, though you can get cheap, good food if you look and this hostel is great value for money. It felt like we were indulging in a 5 star resort rather than a hostel. The dorms were large with big lockers and got cleaned every day. The staff were incredibly friendly. The bar area and outside area are just metres from the sea and a few steps take you right onto the sand. The location is perfect given that it is on the beach yet is also on the main touristic road of buzios. This hostel attracts young travellers, families, older couples and its large audience does not surprise me given its quality!

Amazing hostel in Buzios. One of the best hostels I have ever been to. Great terrace with an ocean view to chill out and a nice bar to party every night. One of the things I liked the most is that every night music was off at 2 am to let people sleep. They have cleaning service every morning. And the breakfast was quite good. The only complain I have is that the mattresses in my room were old and really thin. I will definetly go back.
