“Tiny and too crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013 via mobile

The beaches here are too far apart, so prepare to want to see them all and spending hours all in all going from one to the other expecting the next one to be better. The sights are very nice but if you only have 4 meters of sand till the water and even that is literally full of chairs and umbrellas that you have to pay for. If your coming for the beach, go somewhere else, really. Take a good look at the pictures and check out the ones that are completely crowded, that's how I experienced it it November, not even the "high" season..

“love it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

buzios has so many beaches. the one we like is called "praia de ferradura." it's calm and quiet. they have small restaurants along the beach and they bring you the drinks! foods are very reasonable including drinks. at some point, i even fell asleep on the sand! very safe to hangout

“Nice relaxing small beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

If you are lucky you can bump into a big turtle when swimming from the beach to the tiny other one. Just before entering the beach there is a bar where they sell one of the best Açai!

“Buzios beaches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

There are beaches for every taste. Ferradura for families and people like more calm water. Geriba for young and famous, big waves and lot of music. And everything in between.
I live here.

“An unforgettable stay in the paradise of Búzios”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

My stay in Búzios was unforgettable, because Búziios is a unique place in the world. Búzios has wonderful sunny beaches, where you can swim safetly ( Tartaruga, Canto, Ossos, Azeda, Azedinha , Forno and Ferradura) , snorkel ( like in the Azedinha beach cliff and the connection with Azeda beach; in the right side of Ferradura beach), surf ( Geribá) , enjoy the sun and so on.
The glamorous nights of Búzios around the street " Rua das Pedras" and Bardot seashore walkboard with the live music bars, restaurants, shops and nice people are unforgettable too.
I strongly recommend a dinner in some restaurants in front of the sea of Bardot seashore walkboard.
A walk during the sunset from downtown ( Rua das Pedras) to Ossos beach, along Bardot seashore walkboard is a must.
A breakfast in the gourmet shop in Farol da Barra , in front of the beach is a must too.
