“Nice Resort, lots of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Nice resort for family fun. Awesome pools (outside, with thermal water and indoor, heated), very well maintained game rooms, including modern bowling.
Restaurants are good. Wet bar is very good.
Excellent programming for kids, very good infrastructure, secure and well staffed. Even on regular weekdays.
But try to get out of the hotel and see the awesome falls and local attractions!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the woods are beautiful, At the balcony seems like you're inside the forest. But ca...

This is an ultra modern and stylish hotel complex, with plenty to do, as it is not in particularly interesting area that has anything else to offer.
Met with a complimentary drink in the main large atrium. Staff very helpful with good English spoken.
Rooms continue the modern theme, very large, clean with ample facilities.
No free Wi-Fi (very expensive rates) or lockbox, a key and lock had to be hired from reception.
Breakfast was very good as was the buffet evening meal.
One drawback, because of all the open spaces, with plentiful use of wood and wooden floors, sound seems to carry all over the hotel complex. The evening buffet meal in the restaurant was similar to being in a public swimming pool, with the sound echoing round. The corridors also seemed to channel sound round the hotel rooms.
The lighting in the dark corridors only switches on as you pass the sensors, so you seem to be walking into the dark all the time.
Sound proofing is something that should be addressed seriously.

Room Tip: Find a room at the end of a corridor.

On arrival you are welcomed with a delicious complementary drink and all the staff are very friendly. The hotel is really clean, well decorated and is a more interesting build than most hotels. The pool is very large and nicely done, there are plenty of sunbeds around and the in-pool bar has great cocktails! All the food services were also delicious - the buffet breakfast, the pool side restaurant for lunch and the dinner restaurant, although id recommend the buffet option rather than off the menu - more worth the price! The rooms were standard size and very comfortable. Very nice hotel to relax at after going round the falls in the mornings, although we did had transfers included within the package - otherwise may be quite expensive to get to the falls as its a bit of a drive.

Pool service was good...dining área nice but really off putting to see a little mouse in the hotel reception...rooms too were a little small and felt the bathroom could have done with a good clean!!! Shame as has potential wiht the spa and diferente familiyl amenities but needs to clean up its act a little!

This hotel is very comfortable and cozy. Although is far away from the water falls as well as city center (which it' s not beautiful) it's perfect for after a long journey visiting different attractions relax in a hot swimming pool or going to the spa. They offer different kind of treatments ( shiatsu, hot stones) and there's also activities like a resort especially for families with kids. Breakfast and dinner was included and dinner is excellent with a variety of dishes and superb desserts. It's an excellent choice if you find a package where transfer is included. Inside the hotel there's a tourism agency that can book all the attractions you wish to go including the water falls. There's also bowling to play. At night there are activities too.

A large hotel resort that is modern and well equipped. Great if you are visiting the Falls, as we were. This is not our usual preference , being a large family hotel, but it suited us for two nights whilst at the Falls. Large, clean and very comfortable rooms. Excellent service and friendly. Choice of food, with a nice poolside bar and a self service restaurant . Good and large choice of breakfast fare. Very large pool and deck area for a relaxing sunbathe.

The rooms are ok, but the hotel grounds are EXCELLENT. It is more RESORT than just a hotel. Great gym, nice pool, entire underground level with an indoor pool, bowling, billiard room etc. Breakfast was superb! Internet worked so-so and had an extra charge. Hotel is at the suburbs of Foz, in order to go anywhere you need a cab. Iguazu Brazil is about 30 minutes drive, but beware that going to the Argentinian side, especially in the morning, you could spend almost 2 hours (due to traffic at the border and Argentinian emigration)!

At the hotel, they do not exchange money, but you can pay either in reales, Argentinian pesos or in USD. Cards are also accepted.

We had few drinks at the bar and then dinner, funny thing no one ever asked us any signature, just a room number (but they didn´t speak English at the bar!). I expected trouble. And trouble came … at the checkout, our bills were one big mess and full of stuff we didn´t consume. They sort it out and did charge us only what we consumed but it took a long time and a lot of arguing! I was traveling in a big group (8 rooms) and half of us had this trouble.

Room Tip: Some rooms don´t have a view, check beforehead. Also some have balconies, other´s don´t.
