Excellent location, 5 mins from Foz de Iguacu, 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the falls. Very clean and well maintained - the rooms were sparkling clean, as were the pools and all the public areas.

The pools were a bit on the small side (coudn't actually swim much), but this was made up for by the lovely temperature which allowed swimming day and night. The pools are fed by a thermal spring, and offer different temperatures of pool as the water flows down from one to the other. The constant replacement of the water (every 4 hours) means there is barely any chlorine and it is lovely for lounging around in.

Big buffet breakfast included in the price, with amazing fresh fruit. Food and alcohol was reasonably priced generally, though the buffet dinner could get a bit same-y if you were there a few days.

Very helpful staff - not many spoke English, but as the previous review mentioned, they would always go and find someone who did.

If you can stand the price, definitely recommended!

Without having any preconceptions, I really liked this hotel. We were only due to stay 2 nights, but I left feeling I'd like to come back and stay for a week or so, sampling all of the facilities and generally just relaxing, not to mention visiting Argentina and Paraguay.
I didn't find it noisy at all - certainly not after Rio. In fact, it had a very pleasant sort of family vibe - and we didn't even have any kids with us.
The decor, the abilities of the staff, the food and the grounds and pool were all spot-on. The bathroom was good - with an excellent long bath for six-footers like me.
We threw the (obviously new) waitress in the bar into a panic by asking for a kir royale - hey, it was on the menu. But she recovered well, and became a force to be reckoned with when opening the wine we ordered in the restairant the following night. Ludicrously over-elaborate, but quite good fun - in the UK, you get the bottle opened and plonked on your table (which is fine by me). None of this business with decanters and holding a naked flame under the bottle.
Mabu Thermas - strongly recommended.

We arrived at Mabu on a friday afternoon extremely hot. To us is was the end to our trip that started in Australia. As i got to the foyer i saw this beautiful hall and pool. Our bedroom was extremely clean not to mention the toilet. Every corner of the resort was bright and clean. The pool area a delight surrounded by the tropical landscape. The most we like was the steam bath and sauna area and those lovely hammocks...Every service was provided on time .Breaskfast was included and you had a variety of fruits, cheeses , breads, juices, and plus plus plus...tasty no doubt.
You find yourself close to the falls, the city and airport. I will definitely recommend it to all of you and i will definitely go back in a year or two.
I will never forget these days!!
Thanks Mabu

Magnificent hotel, demonstrates of being 5 stars that 4, situated in the pressed ones of the airport, to 10 km from the center cities, advised for families with children and adolescents, dipped in a forest, center well-being with sauna and center massages, wonderful swimming pools and filled up from waters termal; clean in the rooms optimal, with a wonderful style in art decò-modern. Prices are enough high to you, but of it it is worth the pain if it is considered that is second best hotel of Iguacu.

The lobby is nice. The food was OK. The room is small and the bathroom needs a reform. If you want a vacation to relax this hotel isn´t for you. The hotel is noisy. There are lots of children yelling all the time! There are 5 pools (one is cover, other is for children but all are heated up). There was a crowd of people in the pool. The hotel´s carnival party was excellent (the music was boring but the food was yummy. Mabu´s a good hotel if you want an agitated holiday and if you have small children but I think this hotel is not a good choice for teenagers.
