In Curitiba on business, some friends took me to the "street market" not far from where we stayed. The stalls had the obligatory tourist T-shirts, soaps, traditional indigenous instruments and the like. But we also found some artistically-modified Havaiana sandals, local arts, crafts and inventions as well - check out the photo of my cell-phone hanger for charging! The food stalls had some of the best items on offer - local ices, meat and veggie dishes. And some folks just came to sell their collectibles. A wide-selection, spread over many streets with some talented street performers as well. All-in-all, a morning well-enjoyed.
