Walked in aorund 10 pm after a brutally long day from Winnipeg and was happy to get a room. The pool was such a nice surprise at such a low rate and I really enjoyed a quick 20 laps before heading out to the all night Country Market restaurant for something to eat. Quiet, clean and, while not overly chatty or friendly, accommodating. Did the trick.

Small, sparsely furnished rooms but reasonably clean. Required maintenance, such as a broken chair and door that wouldn't close, is not a priority with the owner.

The rooms have no soundproofing. You will hear the neighbors use the toilet, shave, run water, sneeze, snoore and just about any other noise that a minimum amount of soundproofing would eliminate.

We were promised that pets were not allowed in out section of the motel but there were dogs running around the halls. The continental breakfast is a throwback to 25 years ago when a few motels offered coffee, juice, a few stale donuts and not much more. The coffee is not drinkable.

staff needs some work in customer relations. decent breakfast and pool facilities and a computer for guest use are a plus. overall an acceptable stop, but not worthy of pride of super 8 designation based on our other experiences with super 8 properties.

I stayed at the Super 8 because I had a wedding to attend on Saturday. I asked them if I could check out 1 hour later so that I wouldn't have to waste 3 hours before the wedding started. They were unwilling to give me an extra hour because the staff had to clean...

How many other rooms are they going to clean other than the one I was in? You'd think they could start on the other rooms and cut me some slack, but they wouldn't.

Because of this, and having worked in 3 motels in the past, I will never stay at this, or another Super 8 again.

I was not satisfied.
