“Wonderful hotel provides comfort and convenience, but the price is high.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

Certainty of fun and comfort. The pools are clean, the room is large and comfortable, we were very well treated by the staff, who made us feel at ease. The food was delicious, but very expensive. A failure of the hotel is the high price. My family and I were pleased with the hotel.

Although more a vacation hotel than a business oriented one, it is far better than any other in Brasilia. Further away from Esplanada dos Ministerios where all government buildings are located, it is worth taking the ride than staying in most downtown hotels. Services are good (room service, internet, business centre). It is expensive but in comparison with the price other hotels offer for what they give, it is ok.

This is the very first hotel that I've found in Brazil that is really good.
Rooms are spacious with very comfortable bed.
The sight of the pool and the lake is beautiful.
The gym is very well equipped.
The pool is big, the service and the restaurant are perfect.

I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking a solution quite near to the ministries, but not in the city.

The only problem is the price!

Although the rooms are nice at first sight, it doesn't take long for the guest to find out they are actually terrible.
I spent almost 3 months staying at Royal Tulip every week, and the rooms always had problems. Many fo the rooms I stayed got flooded when I showered (my colleagues complained about the same thing - and we stayed in many different rooms in different parts of the hotel). One of the rooms I stayed didn't have cold water in the bathroom sink - only boiling water, and this is just another example.
Also, both me and my colleague got locked out of the room in different occasions - not because we didn't have the keys, but because the door lock stoped working (that had never happened before, and I am a frequent traveler).
As positives, the breakfast is great and the staff in very nice.

I've been here for 4 times when controlled by blue tree company, with all places brand new.Now it's easy to see the action of time everywhere but still in good conditions. Lobby area is very impressive and pleasant. Rooms confortables but needing some improvements.Pool area very nice in a sunny day with a nice view of he lake.Location far from everywhere needing a car for everything. They have a transfer faciliy to the biggest shopping centers.Gym area small but good and well mantained equipments.A simple detail but hard to forget was towels in a very bad condition specially those at the swimming pool.Breakfast complete for any taste but a weak cofee.Prices better on weekends.

The hotel is located in front of the large Paranoa Lake. There is a nice swim pool where you can enjoy during sunny days. The breakfast is excelent. Free wired internet. Spacious and comfortable beds.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is very well located in a calm area close to Palacio de Alvorada. Hotel facilities are excellent. Employees in the lobby were very helpful with directions to restaurants and interest points. Even though they dont speak spanish, they made their best to explain themselves. Bellmen were very polite. There is a taxi station outside so transportation is not a problem. Breakfast menu is very good, altough they should clean the tables faster.

Room Tip: Choose a high room with view to the pool and lake paranoa. 5037 was ours and was great. Standard r...
