5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

One night stay in Appleton area. Hotel is newer, clean, with contemporary flair. A favorite chain of mine when traveling the Midwest, the Cambria Suites are worthy of seeking out. Did not try breakfast, but selection seemed limited. This place has my stamp of approval.

Once again we were very impressed with the Appleton, WI. Cambria Suites. From start to finish it was an enjoyable stay. Our first evening there, they did have an issue with the jets in the hot tub not functioning, but eary the next morning the problem had been taken care of and all was well.

It truly is one of the quietest places that we have ever stayed at and will continue doing so in the future.

Quiet, high speed Internet free, spacious rooms, free parking, a good menu and room service. Gym facilities are nice as well and everything is very clean. Two thumbs up

The Cambria Suites in Appleton, Wi. was a definite excellent experience! The rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean and well cared for. While some other hotels can also claim the same, where the Cambria Suites really excels is their staff. While all were polite, helpful, and courteous (as anyone working in a service industry should be ) they go above and beyond by being truely FRIENDLY. It truely felt as though we were staying with friends! Very rare.

The rooms were quiet and it is within minutes of shopping and anything else you could want. Thank you all.

The hotel is new and the decor is impressive. However the walls are thin, the floors are thinner and you will hear every sound from the room next door. I was unlucky enough to have a coach of high school kids in the hotel the first night and chaos reigned. There was screaming and shouting, running up and down the corridors, and behavior behooving a bunch of badly behaved 5 year olds.

High speed internet, this is NOT. Anything that clocks less than a Meg per sec is not high speed. I wish hotels would stop advertising their internet connection as high speed and dishing out modem speeds.

If you want a good night's sleep, stay somewhere else where the walls are thicker.

If you want value for money, stay somewhere where breakfast is included.

This was a getaway weekend with my wife. Reserved a disabilities room. Everything was as promised & we were treated as if we were the only guests. How refreshing. Now the pros & cons.
PROS: new hotel, very clean, in quieter area, attached restaurant discounted for guests, breakfast buffet (charge) with very tasty offerings, well appointed & spacious disabilities room, plenty of free internet ports & power outlets in room & in airy well lighted lobby area (also WiFi), excellent customer service by all staff.

CONS: a bit too modern/cool for our tastes, didn't feel homey & comfortable, room had a bothersome chemical/cleaning odor, handicap shower did not drain properly & flooded bathroom, hair dryer kept in tray on floor (luckily it didn't get wet from flooding), bathroom sink way too narrow & small with no room for essentials, bed was uncomfortable, pillows too soft, bed lights too dim for reading, breakfast not included, no shopping or other restaurants within walking distance.

I stayed at the Cambria Suites for a couple nights while on a business trip. It was a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean and modern. The pool & hot tub were small, but its a nice option. The work-out room had a variety of cardio machines and free weights. They also supply water which is nice. I ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and had good meals. Overall, a nice stay while away from home.
