This is a small, cozy restaurant. Reservations are a good idea. On a recent Saturday, we were seated immediately upon arrival for our 6:30 reservation, but it was ten minutes before anyone even came with water. It was another 10 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. (We didn't seem to have one server. Different people kept stopping by.)
It was a very long time before our wine came -- a red, which was served unpleasantly warm, almost as if it had been sitting in someone's car in the sun.
We ordered the mussels appetizer. They were fabulous, large and delicious. We ordered dinner -- two seafood pastas, steak, and scallops. This also took a very long time. The pasta didn't seem to come with all the ingredients we remembered as listed on the menu, but at this point it was two hours from the time we sat down and no one wanted to ask for a menu to check. The pasta was still very good. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The steak was fine.I would try it again. Considering the number of tables and servers, I'm not sure why they were "in the weeds" all night, as one of the servers who passed our table kept telling us.
