For Europeans the payment system will appear a bit weird. You might have to ask a table reservation and will receive a little piece of paper with your number. From now on, everything you want to pay will be saved on that number and before you go, you have to go to the cashier and pay your bill. That is a nice system, but the risk is high to lose that little piece of paper. And then you might get in trouble with paying.
Sunbeds cost 10R$. Sea food is also nice there. They have menues as well as buffet. They also serve the food directly at the beach. Just make sure you remember the name of your waiter responsible for your table areal. (Dude in yellow shirt, seats have different colours.) Ask for a waiter that speaks English. Then they will seat you there.
The beach is rather clean and nice. You can collect mussels there, swim and so on. But when I was there, the waves were pretty high and strong and might easily tear you from a sandbank if you are standing in the water until your bottom. I was so unlucky to lose grip and was not able to get back to the beach on my own. Now I can tell that the lifeguards there are very good, too.
