They have the best buffet, with a great assortment of foods and all sorts of grilled meats.

“Good atmospher, salad/pasta bar, OK meat.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

Only one night in Fortaleza to wrap up our Ceara vacation, we tried Sal E Brasa. It was a medium-length taxi ride from our hotel.

Atmosphere is very nice with white tableclothes and a very attentive staff. Waiters and staff were great; rotating off to help us. Only a few spoke english, but all tried and were sincere in ensuring we had a good experience.

Next to the salad bar, they had a pasta bar. They cook custom pasta receipies - you choose pasta type, sauce, and what you want included (ham, turkey, cheeses, vegetables, etc). It was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had!

On to the meat - it is the normal rodizo rules with Green/Red button. Meat was good, but not great. About 10 different cuts were rotating around the dining room. Again, all were good, but none of them left me inspired.

Desert was great as I tried some sherbert.

Recommended as it was nice to get out of the tourist area of Fortaleza and be more with locals. Also, the prices were much more reasonable. I'd go back for the pasta bar alone.

“The Classy Gaucho Churrasco and much more”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2010

Elegant atmosphere and very good food. The Churrascaria (barbecue place) is so diversified in food options that I joke that they also serve meat. A big variety of salads and appetizers from endives to smoked salmon and heart of palm is worth trying. A sushi, a pasta and also a hot dishes area with goodies like risotto, steamed vegetables and seafood stew, out of many varieties, to accompany the incredible assortment of meat cuts is a must. The bad thing about it is that there is no room for desert. By the way, they have a promotion: during lunch time that goes from 11:30 am to 6 pm the price is R$ 29.90 reals (16.00 dollars). Dinner it jumps to R$49.90 reals (27.00 dollars).

“Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2009

I am a RODIZIO gourmet and and either in Portugal or in Brazil allways I can I know a new restaurant of this type.
Sal e Brasa of Fortaleza I know it from the opening about 2 years ago.
Last week coming back to Fortaleza once again I went to Sal Brasa.
The starters remain terrific with smoked saumon, big mushrooms, several good cheese, shrimps, cheese bread, and a lot of other delicious things.
The various meats are wonderful.
The staff is very good .
Deserves the price.
