“Large rooms, acceptable price, great gym/pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

We stayed here during the World Cup and were pleasantly surprised: modern hotel, large rooms, good breakfast spread (great fruit), friendly and cooperative service service, very good gym on the top floor with spectacular view of the city, nice bar, overall a winning combination. Somewhat distant from the old city

Spent one night there before leaving the city. A big shopping center is nearby, all of Salvador's main sights are far off. The hotel seems very new, with nice modern interiors and big rooms. Free wifi is working there as well. On the up side there is an amazing roof top swimming pool with great views on the city. Next to it, with a glass facade, there is a big, well quipped gym. The sauna was out of order.
On the down side, there are the gastronomic aspects. With not many places in walking distance, one has to rely on the hotel's services. The bar closed very early, for whatever reason. The restaurant had the atmosphere of a fast food restaurant. The burger delivered to the room had a lot of meat, but wasn't very tasty otherwise.

This hotel is new and offers huge rooms at a fair price. I recommend this hotel if you are in town for business or if you are just looking for a place to sleep, because it has a small common area. Breakfast is good, wi fi is a problem.

Room Tip: You can see part of the ocean on higher floors.

I travel quite often to Salvador, living in São Paulo, and I wanted to test this new hotel because of the surprising good reviews it received in so little time (Always a doubt if they´re true or not).
I really can´t understand why.
The localization is terrible, far from everything interesting, you can´t go out for a walk (feel very unsafe at night), rooms are very basic with no charm at all (feel like any international hotel anywhere in the world, completely souless), service is poor.
If you want to visit Salvador and its exceptionnal attractives, avoid this place!
May only please who travel for business, as the value is correct, but even for that purpose, other places are much more enjoyable.

I stayed in this hotel from the 21/9/2013 to the 25/9/2013. It is a new hotel. The room is quite big and very comfortable. Modern and clean décor. Check-in was a bit too slow. We used their laundry services too and they were one day late to give it back to us, so ... on check out day I had to insist with them that we need our laundry back. In the end everything was all right. Bear in mind that Salvador (and Bahia in general) is renowned for its slow service - but people are invariably nice. You might not get efficient service all the time, but they always show a nice disposition towards you. In the bathroom, the shower and toilet area are separated from the sink by a sliding door, but there is no door in this area where the sink is located. Air conditioning was a bit noisy. Bear in mind that it will take you about 15 minutes on a cab ride to take you to Farol da Barra (I paid about R$ 34 reais for a taxi). For R$ 10 reais you can get a cab to take you to the shopping mall Salvador (you can go on foot too). We got a room for two for R$ 185, which I consider a very good deal, considering that the hotel is brand new and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices, the cook could prepare an omelette or tapioca for us. I only had to remind them to replace the bottle of hot water (the water was never warm enough). If you don't insist on being too close to the beach, I think it pays you to stay in this hotel. Mind you, it takes you about 8 minutes to get to Pituba beach by car. I would gladly stay there again.

Room Tip: Todos os quartos são bons e silenciosos. A vista dos fundos do hotel não é nada impressionante.

Just stayed one night but everything was perfect
We chose this hotel to be close from airport before going to Rio.
Nice Welcom, such a big big room, amazing room and bed, nice gym and pool in the roof top floor
Such a great b fast, we just regreted not to stay one more night
Will Côme back there for sure...
The only thing negative is that the wifi disconnect quite often..
Beside this, perfect stay
