I made reservations based upon the ratings on this web site.
I booked the hotel room as the suite experience.
This is what happened.
Everything was confirmed by the hotel by email with a confirmation number.
They were to meet us at the airport upon our arrival. They did not.
When we arrived at the hotel at 2:30PM. It took them 30 minutes to check us in. We went to the room and it was not ready as the maid was cleaning it. We left and had lunch and decided to come back to the room later.
After lunch we went to the room. There were no towels. We called them four times and eventually went to the front desk to complain. After 2 hours we got towels. At 6PM we decided to have a drink in the room. We ordered ice. They called back at 630PM and said the hotel was out of ice. They had no ice at the hotel.
We tried to use their internet cafe but they said the internet was down.
We went out for the evening and returned at 11PM.
We were in room 1315. There was a party in the room next to us. At midnight we asked the people at the front desk if we could move to a quiter room. The people at the front desk told us that the hotel had sold the unit next to our room and the person who owned it only used it for parties on the weekends. (this was friday night).
We moved to 1106 at 1AM.
In the morning, we found out the toilet did not flush properly. We left for the lodge at 8:30AM.
