“Good hotel in Kitakyushu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2010

Stayed for just one night - very pleasantly surprised by the place. Excellent service, good rooms, breakfast was included and all at a very reasonable rate. Nothing to write home about but for a business stay this is a perfect place and I wish there were more such hotels in Europe and the US as comparable rates! The hotel's Japanese garden is truly spectacular and well worth a visit. An array of great restaurants and bars are just a short stroll away.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2009

I stayed at the New Tagawa Hotel for two nights for business. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small. Small rooms are common in Japan. The western style breakfast was good. Front desk staff spoke English. Free internet, but no English television. At $100.00 USD per night with breakfast a good value in Japan where hotels and everything else can be very expensive. I would rate the hotel 3 1/2 stars and a good value.
