Bob and Lisa (Inn keepers) are 2 wonderful people. I hope to see them many times in the future. After our wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, we traveled north on our way home and stayed in Arlington WA. A beautiful area. Very woodzy and quite. The wonderful dinners (prepared by "Iron Chef" Lisa) were to die for, and the hot stone massages and wine in the private garden were so romantic. My new husband was so surprised with it all. The inn is emaculatly kept and like new. The service from Bob and Lisa is professional, yet they make you feel at home from the moment you enter their front door. Leave the laptop and come for a stay!!! Near by golf courses and wine country are short drive south.

We just spent a weekend with Bob and Lisa at their RiverRock Inn for our 32nd anniversary and everything was FABULOUS! Bob and Lisa are wonderfully friendly hosts who make you feel at home from the moment you meet them. The facility is absolutely breathtaking and is nestled in the woods away from traffic and the distractions of the outside world. The rooms are beautifully deacorated with appropriate Northwest themes. The bed in our suite was soooo comfortable and the bathroom with jetted tub for two and a rainfall shower was a real treat. The Candelight dinner for two we enjoyed on our first night rivals anything available in a fine restaurant in the area and was very reasonably priced. The breakfast on both mornings were stunning and just right! We are definitely committed to staying with Bob and Lisa again soon.

Bob and Lisa were great hosts and their hospitality exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding and creative. The use of local produce was a real plus. Our room was big, comfortable and welcoming. The trail through the woods was a peaceful stroll through lush greenery, and Bob's history of the area was informative and entertaining. Especially the Mustang grave yard.

We will recommend them to all our friends and family, and will return.

This was my first experience at B&B, and I can say I was very satisfied with the whole experience. Lisa and Bob are two of the most heart-warming and hospitable people on earth, and they will treat you like you were part of their family. They really went above and beyond what one would normally consider "good" service. One of the great perks is complimentary snacks and drinks (we could go right up to the fridge and take anything from orange juice to soda to bottled water).

From the bottom up, the inn was impeccable. No dust, no bugs, nothing wrong with any of the appliances. The food was delicious, the rooms comfortable and private, and their pets (rocky the cat and paint the dog) were the cutest things alive. On our first day, as we were exploring the hiking trials and open fields, paint (the dog) was guiding us the whole way, even stopping to wait for us. The innkeepers told us Rocky (the cat) was raised around dogs, so it responds to commands (come here!) and isn't afraid of humans.

Their connections with the local businesses made our day activities a breeze. They organized kayaks for us, massages, and provided us with maps and directions into town. I would highly recommend this B&B. Though Bob and Lisa strive to provide the extra "little things", those all add up and in the end, make a big difference.

Bob and Lisa, at the River Rock Inn, make this very special place outstanding. The Inn itself is beautiful. We stayed in the Cedar room. It was very cozy. Every detail was well thought out. We loved the roomy jetted tub, and the fine details, like high end products, French soaps, Turkish cotton towells, the woodwork, etc.
The grounds included trails ranging all over in the woods. One leads to an adorable tree stump turned into a play house. One leads you into a wide open meadow surrounded by woods with a pond. And there are many more to explore...
What makes this place truly outstanding is Bob and Lisa, who make you feel comfortable and at rest. Sitting around their amazing, one of a kind, river rock fireplace, talking and laughing was really fun. We chose to have dinner there, and Lisa is a gourmet chef. The NY steak with dijon bernaise sauce was to die for! Then we went to heaven with dessert! Bob served with great style! The food was top quality, much of it organic. Breakfast was outstanding as well. It was an experience we won't forget.
All of this and many more special things make this B&B truly luxurious. We highly recommend it!

Arlington's River Rock Inn is the perfect weekend getaway for couples or friends...
The rooms are amazing, with beds that could suck you in for days.
Bring a book, because the giant river rock fireplace in the great room is the perfect place to spend hours relaxing.
The property itself is beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of trails for exploring.
I have stayed at the Inn during the summer and winter, and both are equally beautiful. But it is quite an amazing place to be during a snowstorm.
I can't say enough about the food and attention to detail. Coffee is waiting ready in the morning, with all the fixins.
Gourmet organic breakfast is served in courses, each a little yummier than the next.
It's clear that the Inn-keepers love what they are doing, it certainly shows.
I will be returning to the Inn for many years to come.
