“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013 via mobile

We stayed for 3 nights - very nice accommodations. It was all new so the room needed airing out but other than that wonderful room. As an added treat, there was fresh ground coffee with a French press!
The restaurant was very nice too- good food and nice service - though the food came out a bit slow (short staffed in the kitchen).
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Thank you for your kind review! We're glad to see that you enjoyed the complimentary fresh-ground coffee, and the great food in the bistro. We're also thrilled that you enjoyed your room in our brand new, thirty-room expansion. We'll have a room ready for your next trip to Anacortes!

I just had my wedding and reception here and it was AMAZING. Not only was BreeLee very calm when it started to rain and we had to move all the tables inside but all the staff was very helpful! I stayed there 2 night (before the wedding and wedding night) and the rooms are comfortable and charming. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

We will definitely be back!

It was a pleasure hosting your wedding. I know that BreeLee worked hard on making sure your day was absolutely perfect! We were honored that you chose the Majestic for your wedding, and hopefully we’ll see you for several anniversaries!

Ask to be on the rear of the building when you book. We were Street front, which seemed great until the bar across the Street got going with live music..our room 404had a very noisy fan. I shut it off. When I made comment at checkout, they took $30off the room for the night. I was not asking for that, just wanted them to fix it for future guests. Id stay there again for sure. Awesome location.

Room Tip: Not facing Street.. its noisy from the bar.

What a gracious hotel and the new wing is wonderful with spectacular views. Wedding went well, and the outdoor venue was very nice for a mid-Sept. wedding. Not a budget hotel but it compares very favorably to the much larger, better known, and more expensive hotel we have stayed in Seattle .They have a roof bar which is a great place for sunset viewing The best spot to enjoy the company of friends and a glass of wine. There really is no better place to spend the evening than to be curled up next to the fire pit and enjoying the sunset. Parking is plentiful and free.I would definitely recommend this beauty to anybody traveling to the area!

We stayed here over a holiday weekend and had a wonderful stay. Not a budget hotel but it compared very favorably to the much larger, better known, and more expensive hotel we stayed in Seattle later in the trip.

We stayed in the brand new building just across the courtyard. It's so new there were still workmen putting finishing touches on it and a bit of that "new carpet" smell. The rooms were fairly large and have great bathrooms and many of them have great views. There's a roof bar but unfortunately we were so busy exploring Anacortes and the surrounding areas we never seemed to have to go up there. The rooms have electric kettles and a french press and the hotel will provide freshly ground coffee for it, which was a nice touch over the usual bags of old coffee and barely working drip machines you get at most places. Parking is plentiful and free.

The wife tried the spa and really enjoyed it, though I can't speak from personal experience. They were pretty booked up when we were there so it seems popular.

I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Majestic Inn and was very impressed. I actually stayed in the new building at the hotel that had just opened several weeks prior. From my standard studio room, I had a view of the Puget Sound on both sides. The rooms let you control your own heating and AC. The waterfall shower was excellent. The bed extremely comfortable and made beautifully. The French press coffee maker was a neat touch as well. The staff was friendly and hardworking - especially a Jack of All Trades man named Marlin. Of course the entire hotel was spic and span and very well-maintained.

I recently stayed at the Majestic for a few days business trip. When entering the lobby, I was greeted with a smile and had a speedy checkin from the front desk agent. I found that my room was in the brand new wing. When I entered in my room, the view was breathtaking! I had a view of Mt. Baker, the San Juan Islands, and a huge ship that was being built. The room was very quiet and well insulated. The shower head was AH-MAZING! It was a large glass shower stall with a rain showerhead. The fixtures were very modern and of high quality, the towels were very soft and plush, the mattress was fantastic (firm yet soft) with fluffy pillows. The room included a French press coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. There were even bathrobes in the closet for you to use! The new building also has air conditioning in the rooms. I would definitely recommend this beauty to anybody traveling to the area!

We are happy that the new addition suited your needs and provided you with an amazing stay. A lot of time and energy was spent making those new rooms perfect, and we’re glad that you took the time to notice every detail. The waterfall shower head from the ceiling is truly first-class! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon.
