My wife & I just ate at Dad's Diner and were richly rewarded with eclectic and wonderful food. They are quick to let you know that they make their own bacon, sausage, buttermilk biscuits, etc., and it shows. The food is exquisite. My wife had biscuits & gravy and declared it was the best she had eaten in many years. I had Franco-Mexican toast, which is a jalapeno popper on a slice of savory French toast (you get two), plus two eggs any style. The flavors were incredible, and the jalapenos gave the dish a wonderful kick.
We're eager to return as we are told they grind their own hamburger meat.
