I choice this RV park due to their website showing it was a resort. I felt had when I drove across the USA to this parking lot, they call an RV park. It's RV on RV- just like parking spots. Dead grass and trees. Neighbor RV'ers upset about hearing neighbors dogs and sounds. Their picnic table is by neighbors septic connection. You have tippy toe around each RV. It was awful!

This is our third visit to this park (group of 3 rigs...no kids) , the second time we've stayed directly on the bay. The views are incredible.

This is the first time we've ever met any management, Scott the Manager is incredible. Very level headed and is working hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. (We had an issue with the neighbors next door and he dealt with it in a fair, levelheaded and respectful manner).

The waterfront sites are really designed for motorhomes pulling forward. We were with friends (they 5th wheel & we Class A) and went "door to door" which was great, I can imagine it wouldn't be so great if you weren't travelling with the other person(s). Scott is trying to work out a solution but I personally wouldn't want to be door to door with someone I didn't know.

There is also room ahead of your rig but remember this is public space so people do walk in front of your RV. Like any campsite you must use some tact and basic manners.

It's pricey for the waterfront sites but in our opinion it's worth every cent. The management as I've said is very proactive and professional.

I didn't use the facilities. I can also say that this is the first year we've seen the garbage taken away several times per day.
.
I would have rated this a 5 if they had a pool...then it would be a true RV resort.

Already booked for next year!

The only reason this didn't get a 5 rating is I wished it I had it a pool, sauna, and/or hot tub. Then it would be perfect. This is a RV resort with some rental cabins. The manager Scott, and his entire staff are GREAT!

I was part of a large group with people from several states (over 250 people). They have a great clubhouse that was able to fulfill our group's needs, yet still allowing the individual campers room to also enjoy the clubhouse.

Scott, the manager and his staff were great! You can only imagine the needs of a large group, and Scott along with his staff were available when we needed them and the week went very smoothly. Scott, checked in often and many times had great suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable than expected. The front office staff was always friendly and helpful from check in to check out.

The resort itself is very clean, with a variety of sites, some with waterfront views or grassy park like views.

We can't wait to go back. If you are in the Anacortes area, make sure you make this your place to stay.. Rates depend on the type of site or cabin you need/want. This is a great resort for both small and large groups! We can't wait to go back

The only not so nice thing is the refinery view from the cabins. If you are in an RV spot by the water there are nice views. Great club house and people are very friendly there. Very close to many Different places. I'd go again.

To start this review about the the fidalgo bay i have to say that it was December 31 and they were closed and they still help me out with my questions and the next day would be closed so based on that i will give them a good review on service. I rented a cabin for a night that sleep 4 comfertable and you can sleep 6 @ the max (2 on the hide away) the cabins are 122 dollars a night what is cheap for new years eve and you are only 3 mile of the swinomish casino and 3mile of the beautyfull downtown anacortes. The location is perfect with water view and the cabins give you the feeling off having your own space compare to a hotel. I would be back here and recomend every one to stay here.

Front row "seat" for our RV on the Bay! Great campgrounds for big rigs; Tommy Thompson paved bike trails to either town (Anacortes) or across the bay for island cycling! Amenities include clubhouse with exercise room, et al. Dog friendly. Love this place!

We stayed Memorial weekend 2012. 2 adults 2 boys 12-10
Pros: very clean and well kept. Office staff very friendly when open.
Cons: The campsites are very small and not level. The front of our motor home had to be raised so much we needed a stool next to the step to get out. If you have kids don't expect to stay long inside the "resort" as there is nothing for them to do outside of the clubhouse where a adult must closely supervise at times. We made the mistake of allowing them to walk through the "sand" of the inlet only to have them come back with their feet covered in what appeared to be oil. Wireless internet unavailable the entire time of our visit. NO POOL. Expect a charge for extra vehicle, pet or more than 2 adults and 2 kids.

Thank you for writing a review of your stay. We are always happy to get feedback and hear ways we can improve the park. I'm sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant time here. We are now under new management and are planning to make more activities for kids in the West park such as basketball courts, bocce ball, etc. I hope you will come back and give us another try when we have completed the improvements.
