We arrived on April 17th and were pleasantly surprised at the location and the hospitality we received...we had booked a King room with fridgeµ and a table and chairs. When we arrived, our pre-arranged room (Number 8) had a fridge that had "died" that day. The manager offered us another room with 2 Queen beds or one with no table and chairs. We must have looked disappointed because he immediately offered to "hump" the dead fridge out and replace it with the fridge from the next room. We were impressed! That is customer service!
The motel is a lovely "Mom & Pop" style resort located right on the Quinault River with a nice lawn area providing a firepit for those evening fires and nicely-placed benches for watching wildlife on the river.
The motel is nicely remodeled and still a work-in-progress. Expect the manager (Jim) and the owner (Pete) to extend the real old-fashioned hospitality that is rarely seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this motel and appreciated the travel tips.
A word of caution: The nearby Internet Cafe menu sounds inviting...don't go there. We did and we were disappointed. Try visiting the General Store - What a great place to browse!
We paid $59 for our room. We think it was a great investment! Try them - you won't be disappointed.
