This is a self-guided walking tour. Pick up the brochure at the visitor center in the train station on the RR tracks just north of Center St/England St in the center of Ashland. Some Saturdays a year, there is a guided walking tour, also. Ashland has some local stores, food shops, and many fine old homes. It is the home of Randolph Macon College, on the tracks, also. Ashland is a stop on the Amtrack east coast railway line.
