The hotel stunk - the management didn't speak english, and the so called breakfast was a joke. Eating area was so nasty our group went across the street to McDonald's to eat.

I woud not recommend this to ANYONE! BEWARE don't stay Here.

This was the first vacation for my husband and I since our son was born......It turned into a very disappointing trip.....Our room smelled reallly bad, we had one bar of soap and 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper.......The remote to the TV worked only after having the batteries removed every few minutes.....The first morning we stayed in to enjoy ourselves, so we ask the maid to give us towels and wash clothes...He insisted he had to have the old ones first and he would only give us 2 towels and 2 wash clothes.....Our safe was broken...Every 24 hours our keys had to be remagnatized, because of this 2 times upon returning from outtings we had to run around the building to the front entrance to get in....There was only 1 ice machine on the 1st floor....The third day there, we left at 11:30 am and returned at 7:30 pm. Our room had not been cleaned, so again we had to hunt down clean linens...The man at the desk tried to say we had up the DO NOT DISTURB sign, but we did not....It got so bad with noise from the other rooms on our last night there, we left early and returned home at 2:00 am. We will NEVER stay there again!!!

We arrived at the hotel late and left the following morning on our way to DC. The hotel was pretty typical for a hotel of this class. It was clean and seemed to be pretty new. The room was comfortable and there was a decent continental breakfast in the morning. My only complaint was the freeway noise. The hotel is right on the freeway and our room faced that direction. It sounded like 18 wheelers were going right through our room all night. They must have used the thinnest windows possible. The other side of the hotel might have been better, but I'll never know.

In my opinion this hotel promoted false advertisement. First of all it advertises that it has a pool. Because when I reserved the room I checked poof under the amenities; however, when we got there they said that there was no pool. Also the man at the front desk tried to put us in a room with one bed after I reserved with one bed, I told him that wasnt going to fly because I wasnt going to sleep with my 17 year old son. The when we were exhausted from spending a hot summer day at King's Domion, we had to walk down to the front desk to get a tiny bottle of shampoo. That is the first place that I have ever been to that didnt have shampoo already in the bathroom. Of course we were way too tired to even leave the room to get a shampoo, so of course we took showers w/o even washing our hair. And this is the topper, the elevator didnt work when it was time for us to check out so we had to use the stairs and walk down three flights of stairs with all of this luggage to get to our car. We actually paid more for this motel then the one I wanted to go to that was right next door which was Econolodge...they had a pool..and they probably had shampoo in the bathrooms.
