Best Motel Ever!

They helped us out when we were in need.

We were at another motel and had so many problems we decided to check out and move to another motel.

This Holiday Inn came to the rescue! They gave us a suite for the price of a regular room and gave us another discount on top of that. They also gave us a late checkout without any problem.

The suites are very large and very comfortable. The rooms were super clean including the bathroom. The bathroom was spacious. The beds were super comfortable.

The rooms were modern and in great condition. I usually do like Holiday Inns but this one was my favorite of all time.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. I am a fanatically clean mother of four and if I say a hotel is clean ......it has to be true!!!
We couldn't have enjoyed our two night stay more. This hotel is conveniently located to Kings Dominion. It shares a huge parking lot with Applebees, Cracker Barell, a mini mart and a couple of other restaurants that I can't remember right now. So, after a long day at the park we were albe to shower and walk just a couple steps to one of these restaurants for dinner.
They provided a great hot continental breakfast bufett (free of charge) that's ideal for the whole family. The pool and gym were well maintained and the staff very nice! The hotel was a steal for the price!!! I would absolutely stay at this hotel if we go back to Kings Dominion next year!!!!

We recently stayed at HI Express Ashland during a trip to Kings Dominion. Although the hotel was very full we were treated very well by the entire HI staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. We stayed in a King bed suite. I couldn't be happier with the room. I will surely stay there again the next time we visit.

Our family of four spent 4 nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Ashland while visiting King's Dominion and tourist/historical sites in Richmond. We stayed based upon previous reviews of the hotel -- and found them to be on target. The facility was well-kept, the rooms were clean and well-equipped and the hotel was conveniently-located off of I-95. We liked the breakfast buffet (which was a decent spread and was closely monitored by staff to ensure that food/coffee did not run out). Other hotels advertising "free breakfast" often are too small for the crowd and are not replenished frequently enough. Two minor quibbles: (1) the pool and jacuzzi were both too cold (the staff acknowledged this but said "there's nothing we can do") and (2) staff at the front desk knew nothing about King's Dominion -- hours, admission rates, etc. Given that K.D. is the major attraction for the area, we found this puzzling. Other than that, we were pleased and would stay there again.
