Description: When the opportunity arose for a new restaurant at Broadlands, just west of Dulles Airport in Loudoun County, Virginia, it became an ideal chance to create a truly unique destination for dining. This sprawling, rustic tavern features four bars and numerous dining rooms, making the question of where to sit much more difficult than you may have expected. In the 1980s the Clyde's Restaurant Group purchased several antique heavy timber buildings destined for demolition and more than 30 years later these barns, stables, homes, and taverns were reassembled to create the complex of dining rooms for Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. The restaurant which is located on a working farm, is inviting and comfortable, stunningly decorated with original artwork, sculpture, historic artifacts and an over-the-top collection of museum quality 18th century horse-drawn carriages - most strung from the ceilings lined with solid timber struts.

“Consistently Good Food and Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

We had a 10 person family celebration at this very lovely restaurant near Leesburg, Virginia. The service was perfect; the food was more than very good, the prices were reasonable. We were very pleased with the entire evening. The only thing I would have changed was being able to have a round table rather than a rectangle. We highly recommend this Clyde’s for an intimate dinner or large family celebration.

“Clyde's is always good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We enjoyed the service and the meal. But a table of people in the same room were abnormally loud and rude. The women were laughing hysterically with squeals like middle grade children. We did not enjoy the evening until they left. One of our team asked them to toe down and they did only for a few minutes. The waiters even commented but did nothing.

“Take the time to enjoy everything about your time here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

I must be honest, I've had the pleasure of eating here only a few times. But until only recently have I really come to appreciate the true essence of not only the quality of the food, which is consistently fabulous, but the surroundings, which are steeped in history.

The service and staff here is exemplary. From the bartenders to the waitstaff to the ones who clear tables...
I have read less than stellar reviews about experiences here, whether about food or service, which can be expected. But, I can say that, for the area and for Clyde's and this being the flagship Clyde's location, the chefs here are phenomenal. The dishes are always original. The food is prepared very, very well.
Better still, you're never made to feel rushed as if your table is needed... You're a valued customer each and every visit. Just my experience.

There's nothing like it anywhere in the area.

“Awesome American food, Great Anniversary dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

The lamb steak was great, grilled nicely with a mint sauce on top. I substituted the quinoa mushroom veggie for the potatoes, it was awesome and the change was handled simply and correctly. Lobster was a good size, cooked correctly and prepared for easy eating. Both soup appetizers were good, cream of crab and a summer vegetable soup. Both tasty. Dessert was a key lime cheesecake cupcake, a great way to cap off the meal. Service was snappy, the atmosphere was alive and busy... Great American food at a fair price....

“Just order a burger”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

There is a very different vibe in the big room. Much less refined than the smaller rooms. Next time we go I'm going to request the Audubon room. My husband had the trout and said it was fair. Me, having been dismayed with the stew last time we were here; I opted for just a burger and fries which was okay. They are definitely understaffed, the service is poor - almost impossible to flag down the waiter for refills, etc. Go for the fun ambience and order something casual to eat.
